Tjörn Around the Week
Week 33, August 10-16, Tjörnbro Arena is the place to hang out during the sailing competition Tjörn Runt by COWI.
Together with the competition organization and the Stenungsund Sailing Association, we will create an experience around and with Tjörn Runt.

What happens during week 33?
Monday
- Sailing training camp with Stenungsund Sailing Society
- A wide range of activities at the arena, including a trampoline park, pool area and various activities to try out on sea and land.
Tuesday
- Sailing training camp for children with a race in the evening. Start and finish at Stenungsunds Segelsällskap. Register here!
- A wide range of activities at the arena, including a trampoline park, pool area and various activities to try out on sea and land.
Wednesday
- Try sailing with the Swedish Sailing Association at STSS.
- A wide range of activities at the arena, including a trampoline park, pool area and various activities to try out on sea and land.
Thursday
- Lilla Brattön Runt/Starting practice, before Tjörn Runt which ends with food & drink at Elvira's Archipelago Restaurant on Lilla Brattön
- Try sailing with the Swedish Sailing Association.

For competitors in Tjörn Runt/Lilla Tjörn Runt
Tjörn Runt is more than just a sailing competition, it is also an event for the whole family. On land, there are activities and entertainment for both sailors and spectators. Hundreds of spectators usually follow the race and cheer on the participants along the way.
We sail clockwise around Tjörn, starting at Askeröfjorden and finishing at Stigfjorden.
Little Tjörn Around
The sailing takes place on Sunday, week 33. Lilla Tjörn Runt is a unique distance sailing race for dinghies. The competition is not sailed on a classic cross-country course but around an island, Stenungsön.

Parking
There are several parking spaces at Tjörnbro Arena. Follow the signs to the designated parking areas for easy access.

Boat moorings
We recommend sailors to dock at Lilla Brattön, in Stenugsund or at Myggenäs Marina.
Tjörnbro Arenas does not have a proper guest harbor, the docks here are mainly suitable for smaller to medium-sized motorboats:

Bus connections
Traveling to us by public transport is easy. From Stenungsund Central Station, take the bus to Myggenäs Korsväg. Read more about the times for local bus connections here!
