The development

We, who have developed the idea to what it is today, are convinced that the focus on outdoor activities with a focus on training and outdoor activities is absolutely right on time. Training, outdoor activities and chilling also have a long-term future. More and more people are rethinking their lifestyle. This requires a facility that delivers holistic, sustainable, innovative and complete solutions all year round. A destination with attractive content, high competence and a holistic approach that extends from the first booking, through the first return visit and onwards in time. A place to return to – again and again.

The place

Strategically, the location could hardly be better. Tjörnbron is the gateway to all the great experiences that our west coast has to offer, making Tjörnbro Arena the gateway to Bohuslän and the perfect base camp for you and your friends.

The business model

We are now on our way to becoming a marketplace for the tourism industry. This means that we are connecting with leading players who can offer a variety of activities in our areas, instead of trying to do everything ourselves.

We can already offer a variety of activities and experiences within training, outdoor activities, exercise and chilling. And more is expected… 

The brand

Tjörnbro Arena owns the brand and is responsible for ensuring that it is quality assured. Together with the best players, we have extremely good opportunities to build a brand that gives strength to both the facility as a whole and to the individual companies that collaborate in the area. Collaboration provides strong synergies for all parties involved because they can benefit from each other's strengths, resources, products and traction in the market. Guests and their families can also take advantage of our "Total Living Concept", which means that you get the opportunity to combine work, leisure and family life in the best way when they are at the arena.

Sustainability

To contribute to as little environmental impact as possible, Tjörnbro Arena's focus is on home markets and local markets focused on health, training and events. We also strive to reduce the environmental and climate footprint of the business. For example, electric golf carts are used in the area. We also create close interaction with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders in sustainability and environmental issues. Tjörnbro Arena conducts internal environmental work that leads to continuous improvements and takes advantage of the commitment and awareness of employees.

When it comes to outdoor-themed business development, we focus on getting children and young people moving, and through knowledge, we will further arouse interest in health and well-being in the same area. We prioritize using local companies in our redevelopment phase so that the revenue stays at home.

We work actively with economic sustainability. For example, there are air heat pumps in all of our 55 apartments to keep electricity costs down in the long term. We also recycle furniture where possible.

We are affiliated with the Sustainability Step and thus contribute to a sustainable tourism industry. The seasons we focus on when it comes to increasing the number of visitors are mainly outside the peak season – which aligns well with the Sustainability Step principle of more visitors when and where it is not full.
